Asia Art Activism is a UK-based collective of artists, curators and academics whose interests and investigations are at the intersection of ‘Asia’, ‘art’ and ‘activism’.
The triangle shape was inherited from their earlier iteration of the logo design. To them, the triangle—with its inherent multiple points and its ability to be flexibly applied in various orientations—represent multiplicity of meanings and connections across geographies and areas of knowledge.

The new design makes use of the three letter ‘A’s derived from the group’s name to form a bold and distinct equilateral triangle. When placed in this format, each letter ‘A’ is given adequate prominence in order to suitably represent each of them as a standalone concept. Yet, it also allows the concepts to interact with each other, continuously and infinitely, just as the members of Asia Art Activism would engage with these concepts alongside each of their own specialisations in their work.
